MissionThe World Public Forum is a deliberative-consultative body that unites various public organizations, members of government bodies, representatives of intellectual, cultural, spiritual, business and political elite from different countries, representatives of various cultural traditions, people that strive to contribute to the dialogue among civilizations. The key objectives of the Forum are: to unite the efforts of the world community in order to protect the spiritual and cultural values of humankind, to organize the space of a constructive dialogue among the main civilizations of the modern world. The activity of the Forum is aimed at elaborating, developing and spreading of a dialogue culture, cultivating collaboration and an understanding spirit in everyday life. The World Public Forum directs its efforts to create effective and democratic instruments for solving global problems and implementing evolutionary changes in the structure of modern society. The realization of "Dialogue of Civilizations" program is interrelated with the development of an interconfessional dialogue the aim of which is to attain united self-determination of representatives of world religions concerning current global challenges - extremism and terrorism that represent the negative side of globalization. The Forum's tasks are to achieve consent as a state of consistent co-existence of the other and a combination of liberal standards and humanitarian values.
